Конкурс для учнів 5-9 класів «The Day Everything Went Right» видавництва MM Publications в Україні та компанії «Лінгвіст».

Уявіть собі ідеальний день, коли все складається саме так, як ви хочете. Можливо, це день, коли ви отримали найвищий бал, здійснили заповітну мрію або просто провели час з друзями. Які емоції ви відчули? Напишіть захопливу розповідь про цей день, додавши яскравих фарб та несподіваних поворотів. 

 Формат роботи: історія.

Завдання: Напишіть власну історію, яка має починатися зі слів: «I was on my way toschool when something unbelievable happened.»

Кількість слів:

учні 5-6 класів: 50-60 слів.

учні 7-9 класів: 70-100 слів.

Під час написання історіїзверніть увагу на:

• відповідність темі

• оригінальність ідеї

• структуру тексту

Оформлення роботи: роботи подаються в електронному форматі (файл .png). За бажанням роботи можуть бути проілюстровані.

Подача робіт: вчителі-наставники заповнюють Google-форму для отримання іменного сертифіката та розміщують роботи своїх учнів за інструкцією у Google-формі.

 Конкурс триватиме з 23 січня по 10 лютого включно.

 17 лютого у події конкурсу на Facebook-сторінці MM Publications Ukraine будуть опубліковані посилання на іменні сертифікати вчителів-наставників і учасників та оголошені 5 переможців, визначені за кількістю ваших коментарів.
Переможці отримають грошовий сертифікат в інтернет-магазин «Лінгвіст».

Якщо ваші учні віком від 10 до 17 років, полюбляють створювати різноманітні проекти та навчаються за посібниками Oxford University Press, тоді з нетерпінням чекаємо на їх творчі роботи.

Конкурс триває до 21 березня 2021 року.

The Project Competition is back, and this year we’re asking students to imagine their ideal guestlist for an online video call. Who will you invite? What will you ask them? 

Your task

For the Project Competition 2021, we’d like you to work in a group (2 to 4 students) and imagine you can invite anyone you’d like to your online video call, why you have chosen them, and what you’d like to ask them. 

Who: Make a list of four people from past or present you’d like to invite

Why: Write a short paragraph explaining why you’d invite them to your online video call

What: Create (e.g. draw/dress up as) your people and write one question you’d like to ask them and what their answers might be 

You can use the poster template (PDF, 20KB) provided to present your entry if you like. Your entry can be hand drawn, produced on a computer, or use real photos (i.e. your group dressing up as the people). If you use real photos, please submit a Model Release and Parental Consent forms (PDF, 82KB) for each student that appears. We will not accept photos from the internet.

The Task

This year Project Competition has gone to the movies! Design a storyboard of 4-6 slides on ONE A3 paper or on Popplet as a digital storyboard, based on a movie genre from the list below:

• Thriller
• Horror
• Sci-fi
• Romance
• Fantasy
• Adventure
• Comedy
• Western

Using these genres students should come up with a story.

Need inspiration?

Use these Starter Questions in class to get your students thinking:

1.      What is typical of your chosen genre?

2.      Are there any types of characters common to this genre?

3.      How would you describe your characters? How do they feel?

4.      Where and when will the story take place?

5.      What is happening in the story?

6.      Is there a challenge in the story?

7.      How does the story begin and end?

• In groups of 2-6, students create their storyboard on the topic: At the Movies
• For each group complete the entry by clicking Enter Now
• Don’t forget to include the JPEG image of your students’ storyboard or the Popplet link to their online storyboard.

Конкурс перекладачів серед старшокласників «Львів Європейський»

Перекладацька компанія Лінгвістичний Центр^® організовує та проводить Конкурс перекладачів серед старшокласників «Львів Європейський» з 2004 року. За ці роки в конкурсі взяли участь понад 7 тисяч учнів шкіл та гімназій м. Львова.

Конкурс проводитиметься у два тури:

1. Відбірковий тур триватиме з 2 по 27 березня 2015 року;
2. Фінальний тур відбудеться 18 квітня 2015 р. в приміщенні ЛНУ ім. Івана Франка та ЛДУ безпеки життєдіяльності.

The competition of translators among high school students "Lviv European"

 

Translation Linguistic Centre® company has organized and conducted competition of translators among high school students "Lviv European" since 2004. More than 7000 students from Lviv schools and gymnasiums have taken part in this competition so far.

The competition will be conducted in two stages:
1. The selection tour will last from 2 to 27 March 2015;
2. The final round will take place on April 18, 2015 in the premises of Lviv Ivan Franko University and Lviv State University of Life Safety.

Результати Всеукраїнської олімпіади з англійської мови "Олімпус" (зимова сесія)

23 січня 2015 року 24 учні 10-11 класів Львівського ліцею менеджменту взяли участь у Всеукраїнській олімпіаді «Олімпус», яку організовав ТзОВ «Інститут розвитку шкільної освіти» (ІРШО). Всі учасники олімпіади отримали дипломи учасників. На жаль, лауреатів серед наших ліцеїстів немає.

The Results of the All-Ukrainian Olympiad "Olympus" (English Language, winter session) 

On January23, 2015 the All-Ukrainian Olympiad "Olympus" was held in Lviv High School of Management. Twenty-four students of forms 10 and 11 took part in it. All students received the diplomas of the participants.

V Всеукраїнський конкурс з англійської мови «Гринвіч-2014»

20 листопада 2014 року учні 11-10 класів Львівського ліцею менеджменту взяли участь у V Всеукраїнському конкурсі знавців англійської мови "Greenwich-2014". Щиро дякуємо організаторам конкурсу за цікаві завдання! Ось фотозвіт проведення конкурсу в нашому навчальному закладі.
