A Day In The Life Of Ukraine 3 - Results!!!!

It’s the moment you’ve all been waiting for…

Yes! The new A Day In The Life Of Ukraine site is now officially open for your reading pleasure!
This was truly one of our best Day ever! And we just have to say thank you thank you thank you to all of our participants and supporters!

Not only were the numbers great (more on that soon), but the quality of the writing was downright incredible! Though we all wrote about the same date, our participants wrote in a variety of genres and styles—from haiku and poetry to essays and letters and journals—about a variety of days.  In the end, we were simply blown away by the creativity and unique innovations that came from even our youngest writers!

To say the least, our newest celebration of daily life in Ukraine was a huge success! We had a whopping 134 total submissions with 120 of them fitting the criteria—true story about being in Ukraine on November 1st - to make it onto our map (see the beautiful map above if you haven’t already). Lviv region topped all others with 35 total submissions, followed by Rivne with 28, and Zaporizhzhya with 17 (Rivne led all individual sites with 24 total submissions).

We can really get a wide angle snapshot of the country by reading through the submissions which came from as far as west as Sambir in Lviv region and stretched east all the way to Amvrosiivka in Donets’k region. If you want to, you can read about life in the north up in Sarny (Rivne region) or all the way down in Sevastopol’ in Crimea. But wherever you travel in your reading, we know that you’ll enjoy it!

Two students from Lviv High School of Management were among those who took part in the competition. Do you want to read their stories? Click on the links between their pictures.
